Ongoing Work

My work encompasses many different medias, having studied for an honours in printmaking to a masters in photography, I found myself becoming ‘jack of all trades’ through working as an artist out in the community for the last twenty years or so.
This work has had an enormous influence and impact on my own arts practise, one of them being the time to actually engage with my own projects due to time constraints, the other is the way I try to get people to engage with ‘play’..
Its this play that drives me and the early influences of my favourite book when I was five ‘Teddy Edwards Winter Holiday’, real toys in real scenarios, making them and taking them out of the play box and into reality, engaging fully with the ‘lets pretend’, bring on the play, life is far to serious.
